Melissa joined Schall Executive Search in 2006 and she has built a solid reputation for providing her clients outstanding personalized service. Her legal background, her business experience, and her entrepreneurial history provides her clients unmatched research capabilities, a vast network, and a deep understanding of business operations and strategy. She has recruited senior-level talent into companies of all sizes across a broad spectrum of industries, including agriculture, energy, consumer, retail, industrial, not-for-profit, healthcare, life sciences, and real estate and construction. Melissa's search experience includes placing executives into board member positions, C-Level, and general management roles, as well as functional leaders in human resources, information technology, finance, operations, sales, and marketing. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both government and environmental studies from Bowdoin College, and a Juris Doctorate and Masters from Syracuse University. Prior to Schall Executive Search, she served as Chief Executive Officer of Kilauea Consulting, Inc., a risk management company serving clients in the U.S. Mainland and Pacific Rim, legal counsel to Hawaii Gold Cacao Tree, Inc., an agricultural company, and General Electric. She is currently the President of The Blake School Alumni Board. In her spare time she runs marathons to raise funds and awareness for ovarian cancer research and generally adores her two dogs and two cats.
